About
The Placement and Career Counseling Cell of Dr. Rohini Kanta Barua Law College has been established to assists students in career exploration, skill development, and job placement. The Cell intends to help the students to improve their skills so that they can establish themselves in a better way after completion of the course in the college. It is working for developing and building professional attitude amongst the student and to provide opportunities of employment to students through Campus selection. The Cell also takes initiatives to aware student communities to explore legal profession as a career.

Objectives
The Cell shall initiate its functions with the following objectives:

1. To develop an endeavor inside the institution for inculcating practical knowledge on matters incidental to job appointments in various platforms as students of law
2. To create an atmosphere of Professionalism and to deliver formal and practical insights amongst the students
3. To organize practical training sessions in either mode for allowing the students to know the basic skills required for addressing any job interviews, like preparation of their CV
4. To organize mock interviews as an emulation of job interviews for training purposes
5. To initiate the process of Campus Selection for various jobs in the later stages within the campus of the institution
6. To organize awareness programmes on scope of law as career among students of other institutions

Activities Undertaken

Tenure of the Members

• The Faculty Members shall be the permanent members of the Cell unless resigned as a faculty member from the institution, or discharge from such responsibilities by the Chairperson.
  
• The External Members shall be removed or discharged with the approval of all the members otherwise they shall continue unless otherwise decided unanimously by the members of the Cell.
  
• The students members shall continue as members till the completion of one year unless otherwise decided by the faculty members with the approval from the Chairperson.
