About
The SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and Minority Cell of Dr. R.K.B. Law College commits to ensuring the protection of aforesaid categories of person as per the provisions of the Constitution of India and also works for providing an environment that promotes diversity and respect for everyone regardless of race, caste, colour, religious belief or culture. This cell is committed to endeavoring to create a promotional environment where all students feel safe and respected. It will provide comprehensive preventive and proactive services to all such students.

Objectives

• To ensure protection and reservation of students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and Minority as provided in the Constitution of India
• To create an environment where all such students feel safe and secure
• To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the career growth of these students
• To provide a mechanism to redress the grievances of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and Minority students, if any

Jurisdiction
The extent of jurisdiction of this cell shall confine within the premises of Dr. Rohini Kanta Barua Law College and as such no outsider student will be entertained.

Exclusion
This cell exclusively looks after the works related to ST/SC/OBC/MOBC and Minority matters, no other matter shall be assigned to the Cell.
