The Committee is formed to take necessary decisions to carry out Internal Assessment (IA) and practical examinations in a smooth manner and also to improve, safeguard the quality of examinations.

Power and Functions

1. To take relevant decision, for holding Internal Assessment Examinations according to the rules and norms of Dibrugarh University
2. To prepare Time Table for examination
3. To prepare examination invigilation duty list
4. To prepare guidelines for examinations
5. To consider applications of the students for special IA examination and to take decision for granting additional opportunity to appear in the examination
6. To scrutinize marks of the students in IA examination, to detect anomalies, if any and to recommend necessary action
7. To ensure that the evaluation process of Sessional examinations is completed on time, answer scripts are shown to the students and marks are displayed in the respective Notice Board
8. To prepare invigilation duty chart for IA exams and to monitor attendance of teachers as per duty allotted
9. To keep record of each and every issue relating to examination
10. To evolve adequate measures for calculating attendance of students in the class and to take necessary decision relating thereto
11. To evaluate examination result and adopt adequate measures to meet issues relating to adverse result if arises as the case may be
12. To organize workshop etc. to train teachers on the techniques of evaluation, question paper setting etc.
13. Any other activity of similar nature

Composition
Chairperson: Dr. Gautomi Dutta, Principal, Dr. R. K. B. Law College
Members: Shri R.K. Agarwalla, Vice Principal, Dr. R. K. B. Law College; Two core faculty members (One from each programme) to be nominated by the Principal after consultation with the Vice-Principal from time to time.
